The Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Mobycon are pleased to invite you to the New Orleans premiere of Why We Cycle, a thought-provoking documentary about Dutch bicycle culture.

Join us at New Orleans' historic Le Petit Theatre for refreshments, a film (56 minutes), and an informal chat.

Film Director, Gertjan Hulster, Executive Director of Bike Easy, Dan Favre, Director of the Dutch Cyclists’ Union, Saskia Kluit, and Dutch mobility expert Lennart Nout, will be there to host a community discussion after the movie.

To the Dutch, cycling is as normal as breathing. In the documentary 'Why We Cycle' we take a ride with ordinary cyclists and specialists from a variety of disciplines. These conversations uncover some obvious, but even more hidden effects of cycling on people, on societies, and on the organization of cities.
