The Why Go To College Forum (WGTC) is an opportunity for Middle School, High School, and Community College Students to receive everything they need to know to make the right decisions when planning to attend a four-year college.
Workshops will include:

- Finances: FAFSA, Scholarships, and Application Fee Waivers Overview
- Preparing to be a Competitive Applicant
- Helping Your Child Prepare for College Applications/Supporting Your Child's Strengths & Dreams
- Student Panel: Shine Your Light on the World
- Empty Nesting: Supporting Your Child in College/Parent Panel
- Career Panel: Across All Sectors and Non-Traditional Career Paths
- and more!
The WGTC Forum will prepare attendees to attend college fairs and present themselves as viable, competitive first-time as well as transfer applicants. The WGTC Forum will also give parents the tools they will need to support their college students.
This Forum is FREE of charge but all attendees must register in advance as breakfast and lunch will be provided!
