The new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) will come into force inthe UK on 25th May 2018 and will replace our current Data Protection Act 1998 with more stringent requirements and larger fines for non-compliance, with some GDPR breaches carrying fines of up to 4% of global annual turnover or 20 million Euros.

This breakfast briefing will provide infomation on the new regulations, the actions you should take now and implications of non-compliance. The briefing will be delivered by Karen Harris, Senior Policy Officer from the Infomation Commissioners Office.
