Event description

Description

Environmental managers need to communicate scientific information to the public, but are often in need of tools for effective and meaningful messaging. This workshop will discuss recent research on the psychology of science communication and lead participants in exercises to enhance science communication with the public, such as story-telling and emotional reasoning.

This workshop will be co-led by Pace University assistant professor Dr. Anne Toomey and Eleni Fischer, Senior Associate at ideas42, a social enterprise that uses insights from Behavioral Economics to invent fresh solutions to tough social problems.
