Description

What does the evidence show about today's marijuana (cannabis)? How does the potency of today's "weed" impact the developing adolescent brain? Can marijuana be addictive? Don't miss this critical presentation on "clearing the smokescreen" around marijuana.


Tauheed Zaman, MD, is an addiction psychiatrist at the San Francisco VA Medical Center and UCSF. He serves on the California Society of Addiction Medicine (CSAM) Committee on Marijuana Policy Reform, and authored the American Psychiatric Association’s position statement on marijuana as medicine.


Parents, faculty/staff, and community members welcome! Spanish interpretation will be available. Free admission.
