" Here is a chance for our young people to have their voices heard"
The "Who's Trump for our children" Forum will bring together high school students from all across the Chicago and the surrounding suburbs to discuss relevant issues facing our youth. This event is designed to be a "trump" to the gap between our children, their thoughts, hopes and dreams and what they perceive to be the expectations of this overwhelming world filled with adults while illuminating challenges and identifying possible solutions. Our hope is that by bringing both sides together, a better understanding will be gained of where the "disconnect" lies, and a mutual desire to work towards the one goal we all want, that our children grow into productive, successful adults, will be gained.
This event, moderated by Nina Stewart, CEO of the Future CEO Business Academy, will include a panel of leaders and students that are able to provide a different prospective of all challenges discussed. The panel will include teachers, law enforcement, professors and students who will all share their insight on how to resolve the challenges our children face daily. The general public will also be invited to join in the conversation as well, We invite our children to be "open" and "honest" about their feelings. After the conversation, our students will be provided with resources to develop action plans to tackle identified challenges in their own community.
Sponsorship opportunities are available.
