Who's in Charge?: Helping Teens Navigate Through Stressful Times
Event Information
About this Event
We have all had to endure stressful moments in our lives. Perhaps now, more than ever, it feels that distress has been magnified beyond what feels manageable. Students are facing unprecedented circumstances, and yet expectations of success remain.
This group will create a safe space that validates and encourages students, while pointing them back to the One who remains in control of it all. While eliminating all stress is not the goal, students will gain tools to navigate through this stressful season of their lives.
Where: Online via Zoom
When: This group will begin on Wednesday January 27th from 3PM to 4PM and continue weekly for six weeks, ending on Wednesday March 3rd.
Who: Students age 13 and up are invited to attend
Group Leader: The group will be led by Life Counseling Center counselor and psychologist, Renee Davis.
Cost: $200 covers the cost of the whole six-week support group.
It is encouraged that students are able to make most, if not all, sessions.
Space is limited. Email Renee at rdavis@chapelgate.org with any questions.
