I'm riding in honor of these Bad Ass Rockstars-
Twinsie Jessica Leung (beaten stage 4/5 nasopharyngeal schmancer and is going in the record books. http://toughladieskicksass.blogspot.hk),
Family friend Benji Kaplan (beaten testicular schmancer and has the biggest bad ass scar that if you ask nicely, he may show you)
When & Where
Emily Leung and Hey Lady
Emily Leung was born 3 minutes before Jessica, and so for only 3 minutes of her life could imagine a life without her. Who would she discuss what she was eating next with? Jessica was diagnosed with stage 4/5 nasopharyngeal schmancer in the Fall of 2012, where doctors told her to literally think about what she wanted to do with her last days. To have gone through the trenches with this, and having it hit again with the news of her family friend Benji, has brought new meaning and a new perspective to how life should be lived. So grateful for the miracles of both Jessica and Benji's recovery, and motivated by the big hearts of others like Jieren Chen/Michelle Bertino/Noble Millie with their Slap Cancer Mr. Marina campaign, Emily decided it was time to pay it forward. And since The Leung Twins never do anything half-assed, she decided to not just give back, but to Give Big.
Hey Lady, LLC, based in SF Bay Area, is the brainchild of the Leung twins.
