By Laura Benold, Associate Marketing Coordinator for the Southwest Region

When and where

Date and time

Sat, September 7, 2013, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM CDT

Location

Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail (just southeast of the baseball field near the YMCA)

Description

Calling all kids and families to plant wildflower seeds along Lady Bird Lake with the downtown Whole Foods Market store, The Whole Kids Foundation, and The Trail Foundation for a two hour service opportunity!

We are excited to roll up our sleeves and help prepare the trail for fresh blooms. This will be a two-hour family-friendly project with tasks for all ages.

Below, please find more detailed information, including a list of things it may be helpful to bring on the day of the project. It's our goal to make your experience fun, uplifting and kid-friendly!

After the project is over, we invite you to take home a personal sized salad with fun fixin's! Join us in modeling healthy eating, along with Whole Kids Foundation.

We look forward to meeting you soon!

Cheers,

Laura Benold
