Chairman Sharon Bulova, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.“Fairfax County was founded in 1742 and has been the location of many impactful events. Like America, our county is exceptional in its history, its people and its institutions. We are fortunate that our residents have a passion for discovering, preserving, and sharing parts of our exciting and important history. In anticipation of Fairfax County’s 275th Anniversary in 2017, I have established a planning group to explore ways in which we can celebrate and commemorate our County’s history with our community.”
