Description

In keeping with its mission of community engagement and learning, The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum will feature the screening of the documentary Who killed Emmett Till to be followed by a presentation by DEBORAH WATTS the co-founder of the Emmett Till Legacy Foundation and a member of the Till family. The Who killed Emmett Till Event will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 11 am - 2 pm, at the National Great Blacks In Wax Museum’s Alberta Cason Room. The event will highlight the life and legacy of Emmet Till and the parallels of his tragedy with the killings young black men of today. There will be performances by community organizations as well as an exhibit dedicated to him by the 4th and 5th-grade students of Harford Heights Elementary School. The event will be free.
