About this event

Whiskey and Art: Summer Camp Fundraiser

Join us May 26 for an incredible Art and Whiskey networking event. We have an spectacular lineup of the people you want to be associated with. You have the opportunity to become lifelong friends with VC's, models, mentors, entrepreneurs while you learn and indulge yourselves with Gastropub food and Whiskey.

Know that while enjoying yourself you will be helping to send children to Fly Your Kite Camp in the Sierra Mountains: flyyourkitecamp.com

Every summer, many local children, especially from lower income Bay Area families, are left at home at their own devices, without any chance for quality childcare, summer camps, learning and growth. As a result, those children fall back at school and lack social adaptive, interpersonal, independence, and other important skills.

Our fundraiser is here to help, and provide youth a unique opportunity to attend a summer camp they would otherwise not afford.

In the past, we helped children from east Palo Alto and children from Hispanic communities experience the magic of camp and rave about for years to come and we want them join us again this year!

100 of the proceeds goes to send children to the upcoming overnight practical life skill camp. Our charity tax ID is 82-2207354

* Mariya Milovidova: MM Art and Fashion coming from Odessa Ukrain

Mariya is an artist, a fashion designer and an entrepreneur. She has attracted celebrity clients from Hollywood to Bollywood, and been featured in fashion weeks from Paris to New York, to her base in San Francisco.

Maria is a mother whose son is yet to attend a camp, and she is very passionate about child enrichment. She generously donated the fashion show to our event: the models will be presenting her hand painted dresses. Also Maria donated to the life auction the original print on canvas, framed and signed.

* Heidi Noriko: She specializes in Design Consultation, Business Development, Communication and the Arts. She has a Masters of Fine Arts in Design where she taught at The University of Iowa 2 and 3 Dimensional design. Heidi is a true caregiver and is charitable: she was assistant at the kindergarten as a nanny, and taught children art and English to understand children and fill a nurturing void.

She generously donated four limited addition prints, valued over $1500.

*Seline Elin: Entrepreneur, hotelier, philanthropist, former Comcast TV California Scenes host, business advisor, Founder of Pitch Fashion Tech.

Proud mother of two teen aged children, Seline is very involved in youth development and child educator activities.

This outstanding donation is valued at $1600 and shows the extent of Seline’s dedication and faith in our children’s charitable cause.

*Lissa Starnes: San Francisco Bay Area artist Lissa Starnes received her BFA from the Academy of Art University.

Lissa studied with notable Bay Area artists - Manuel Neri, Nathan Oliveira, Howard Brodie, and Thomas Marsh, and was immersed in figurative studies that morphed into organic forms resembling surrealistic landscapes of trees.

Being nurturing and charitable by nature, Lissa is excited to donate Lissa Starnes’s photo she took of the world-famous Japanese Maple tree at the Portland Japanese Garden (17x17 framed). This Japanese Maple is the most world-famous and photographed tree in all of North America.
