This class will walk us through the basic process by which whiskies are made with a breakdown of the differences between the production methods and maturation of Irish, Scotch, Bourbons, etc., and how those differences affect what you taste, and why.

Julia is the Director of Whiskey Curation and Education for the Museum of Distilled Spirits.
Kurt Maitland , Assistant Director of Whiskey for the Museum of Distilled Spirits, is the founder of the Manhattan Whiskey Club, Whiskey Selections, and author of Drink.
