Informing families about the college application process in the time of the pandemic 2021 with educational consultant Susan Stanaway

Registrants for the previously postponed date of Jan 21st have been emailed a new zoom link.

Educational consultant Susan Stanaway’s session will address the differences between types of higher education institutions, the types of applications and admissions processes, and the current state of higher education admissions in the age of the pandemic. Extracurricular activities and standardized testing will also be addressed.

Susan brings over 35 years of experience working with young people in a variety of settings ranging from outdoor education and counseling to private high school teaching and administration. She worked as an admissions counselor for her alma mater, Goddard College, for 3 years before going into teaching and consulting. For the last 12 years, she has been an independent educational consultant working with students and their families in her home office and online.

Susan is also the parent of two Cupertino High School graduates.


Cupertino High School Community: Please join us via Zoom on Thursday, February 4th at 7pm. A Q&A session will follow Susan Stanaway's talk. To accommodate anyone not able to attend on Feb 4th, the webinar will be recorded and available for 2 weeks following the event. Please join us to make Cupertino High a great place for our kids with your donation and membership.The CHS PTSA plays an important role at Cupertino High School.  The PTSA is a made up of parents, teachers and students and we work with the school to help provide:

  • Funding for learning tools/equipments and projects that fall outside of the school budget.
  • A communication link between parents and the school.
  • Support for many school activities.
  • Important services to students.
  • Parent education on a number of areas affecting teenagers and their families.
