Where are we now and what comes next? Update on COVID-19 Hospital Considerations for Breastfeeding People

Objectives:
Review the updated guidance on Mother-Neonate contact and breastfeeding/pumping during a hospital stay in Symptomatic PUI and COVID-19 positive mothers
Recognize the importance of Maternal Autonomy in the medical decision-making process
Discuss ways to address breastfeeding-related anxieties and fears of COVID-19 positive mothers and support breastfeeding post-hospital discharge
Summarize the available information on the COVID-19 vaccine and breastfeeding
