When Women Win: Celebrating the Women of the 117th Congress
Event Information
About this Event
Record numbers of women ran for office and won on both sides of the aisle in 2020. Americans elected the first woman Vice President and in Congressional and state races across America, Republican women, black women, native women, and trans women broke barriers and made record gains. Now as they step forward to lead in the 117th Congress and in State Houses across the country, they will bring insights, innovation, and a willingness to fight for the principles they ran on. How will this history-making class of women lead into the future and how will women lead in this challenging national moment?
This free virtual event will feature Congressional leaders and newly-elected rising stars. Hosted by AIT CEO Lauren Leader, it will be a not-to-miss celebration of women's power and potential as leaders shaping our nation.
