This presentation will examine how these issues are impacting adolescent mental and physical health and provide strategies for youth serving professionals.

-Director of both the Substance Abuse Assessment/Intervention Team at The Johns Hopkins Hospital Adolescent Program, and the Substance Abuse Faculty Development Program

-Former Deputy Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy

-Past president of both the Association for Medical Education and Research in Substance Abuse and the National Association for Children of Alcoholics

-Board certified in Addiction Medicine and Pediatrics

Triple Trouble: Intervening with Substance Using Adolescents Impacted by Covid-19 & Racism

This presentation will provide clinical strategies for addressing concurrent issues with adolescents in individual and group sessions
