Grief can be especially complex for parents who have experienced the death of a child. This workshop will explore the unique intricacies of this type of loss and prepare you to better serve clients grieving the death of a child of any age, whether the loss was during pregnancy, infancy, childhood or adulthood.
- Describe the unique experiences common to grieving parents
- Discuss the impact of parental grief on the marital relationship
- Provide ideas for addressing parental grief in the therapeutic setting
