Bike Barn West U & The Custom Fit Studio

OR online at

Join us for Houston Outdoor LIVE  with Bayou City Outdoor, HTXOutdoors, Bike Barn and The Custom Fit Studio. Join us in person and connect with new women cycling friends while you learn all about that bike you just bought or maybe has been having around the garage alone, a little too long!

Can't make it in person? Check out the LIVE event online at our Facebook Live presentation.  Both events run simultaneously, and you can join the Q&A online or in person.

This week we’re talking all things cycling.  We will go over what you need to know to transport your bike, change a tire (and air your tires up), fix a chain, do a safety check and time permitting shifting and clipping in. We’ll take Q&A at the of the presentation to help guide everyone into outdoor fun mastery.

No need to bring your bike, we will have bikes on site to demonstrate on and practice with!

Wine, snacks and non-alcohol refreshments will be provided. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Typically most BCO events are for adults.  But, we do love kids.  If you believe your child is capable of keeping up with the group, no problem.  AND if this is a bike ride they MUST wear a helmet.  Questions?  Contact us at

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

We add parking details to the Event descriptions.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

If the temperature is above 80 or it very clearly says "No Dogs" then please don't bring your dog.  We LOVE dogs and only make this rule if we feel there could be a safety concern (for the dogs of course:).

BIKE: If it is a bike ride: Bring a helmet or borrow one from us.  Helmets are the single most important piece of gear you can have on a bike ride.  Anyway, any time you are wearing a helmet you must be having fun!

Bring water.  Frequently our events are in the woods or out of the way.  Water is important.

HIKE: If it is a hiking event wear comfortable shoes.  Athletic shoes, hiking boots, running shoes, just be sure your feet will be happy.

SOCIAL: If it is a social event?  Wear whatever YOU feel comfortable in.  We are an eclectic mix of people with all types of interests and jobs.  People will come straight from work in a suit or jeans, straight from running or working out, and some of us even come cleaned up straight from the shower!  (and everything in between)

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? or 713-524 3567

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Can I update my registration information?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Printed ticket or download the EventBright app and bring it on your phone.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds up until 48 hours before.  Or, better yet, get some goodwill by sharing your ticket with a friend.  They will love you even more after all the fun they had at the BCO event!

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes - see love & friendship above!
