Event description
This 6 hours mechanic course over two evenings offers structured instruction and hands on practice building wheels.

About this event

Intro to wheel building.

Monday & Tuesday 6:30-9:30pm

This course will be an overview of how to build bicycle wheels including spoke calculation, lacing, and intro to radial/lateral truing, dish, and tensioning. Prior experience working with wheels a benefit but not necessary.

If you want to build a wheel for yourself bring along your rim, hub, and spokes or purchase them from the shop. Alternatively, you can build a wheel for Pedals for the People!
