Description

**For NYC-based members of GreenThumb community gardeners only**

What are these spots on my tomatoes? What is this bug, and is it eating or helping my crops? GreenThumb is thrilled to partner with Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) this summer to help you have a successful growing season.

Please submit your photos and questions in advance, by Friday at noon before the webinar: If you have a google account please use this form, otherwise please email your photos and questions to greenthumbinfo@parks.nyc.gov. During the virtual office hours sessions, CCE Urban Agriculture Specialists Yolanda Gonzalez and Sam Anderson, together with GreenThumb staff, will work through your questions and do our best to provide answers, tips, and suggestions!

The best way for us to help identify the issue is through photos. Please upload or email us up to 5 clear, sharp images, with a mix of angles. For problems with plant damage or disease, include close-up shots of problem areas on the plants (damage, discoloration etc.) and at least one zoomed out to show the whole plant, if possible. If you see a bug, any fairly close-up and in-focus photos of the bug itself will be useful, along with photos of suspected damage to the plant.

**If you are a NYC backyard gardener, school gardener, or hobbyist, Cornell Cooperative Extension has existing programs in place for you! Please visit http://gardening.cals.cornell.edu/ for more information. If you are not from NYC, please check your state's USDA agricultural extension agent or land-grant university. Due to our limited capacity, we are limiting these sessions to members of GreenThumb community gardens in NYC. Thank you for understanding.
