Description

What is the single best measure of heart health?

Its not your BMI, not your age, not your activity level, not whether you are smoking. Its not even whether you have high blood pressure or diabetes. (Even though all of them affect your heart health).

The single best measure of heart health (according to the American Heart Association) is your VO2Max score.

Feb is heart health month - join us to learn more about VO2Max and the connection to fitness and heart health from a panel of experts:

Dr. Marialice Kern, Head of Exercise Science, SFSU
