So You’re Missing a Tooth: “Dental Implants in Your Practice”
Dr. Frank Higginbottom
Financial relationships exist: ITI - Straumann, Dentsply, Casmadat - DEKKA, Brasseler - Imagedent - Stranmann
Today there are many options for tooth replacement. It is always thought that implants are the standard of care, but what is really the standard of care? Are implants always the best choice? We will discuss the “State of the Implant Today”. By incorporating Implants into your practice we cannot dismiss “Interdisciplinary Care”. Implants today can be very simple like restoring natural teeth or they can be very complicated, but still very predictable. When is it possible to have esthetic results? Can we work the Transition Zone predictably? Today when we have mastered analog procedures does Digital offer any advantage?
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
Recognize the current standard of care for tooth replacement.
Identify the evolution of dental implants.
Recognize the importance of effective treatment planning.
Recognize the importance of provisional restorations.
