Event description
Come listen to the results of the 2021 bacteria monitoring season in Montgomery County.

About this event

This summer Anacostia Riverkeeper, funded by the Chesapeake Bay Trust and Montgomery County and working with partner organizations, Friends of Sligo Creek and Neighbors of Northwest Branch, conducted bi-weekly water quality monitoring. Samples were collected from 5 sites in Montgomery County, Maryland on tributaries of the Anacostia River. Each site was sampled for bacteria, water temperature, air temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, and conductivity and then analyzed in the Anacostia Riverkeeper lab.

Join us for a webinar where we share the results of the 2021 monitoring season and discuss the policy implications for broader Anacostia watershed.
