What’s in a Number?
Exploring Mathematics Conceptually
During this one-day workshop, participants will explore and experience mathematics conceptually, building a deeper understanding of how math works. We will begin our journey in the number system through the understanding of numbers and operations and make connections to algebraic thinking and progressions through the grade levels. Participants will have an opportunity to collaborate with peers on shifts in teaching and learning through the implementation of the common core state standards
