Description

Blockchain is probably best known as the technology originally devised for the digital currency Bitcoin. However, the underlying technology has enormous potential as Blockchain is essentially a central ledger or distributed database that is owned by everyone and yet owned by no-one. As a CFO, what does this new technology mean? What do you need to know and what are the potential implications to your business? Join us on October 16th to explore this topic further with our panel of experts. You will not want to miss this!

Learning Objectives

  • What exactly is it?
  • Typical database vs. Blockchain, Public vs. Private Blockchain?
  • Real world implications to blockchain and benefits of embracing innovation and change.
  • How will this impact businesses day-to-day, and what are the pitfalls, reality vs. fiction?
  • What can CFO’s do to prepare?
  • Economic view of the crypto market.
