Description
This series of "FUNSHOPS" brings together like-minded people who are (or want to be) in action to bring about a life, community and world that are sustainable, just, and fulfilling for themselves and all other people and beings.
NEXT SESSION: Creative Writing
Where in the world do the words come from?
What in the world are the words for?
Sunday November 24th from 1pm to 3pm.
at The Albion Bolton Library
You are warmly invited to participate in a 2-hour "Funshop" with local creative writers.
We will be exploring together some of the most fascinating questions that face (or plague) most creative writers:
Where in the world do the words come from?
What in the world are the words for?
This conversation/gathering is part of an ongoing series asking key questions of our times, affectionately known as the "The WITWA Funshop Series." WITWA stands for "What In The World Are… We Doing?" and each gathering is organized around a theme relevant to the community featuring "leaders" in that topic.
This month the gathering is jointly sponsored by Unify Caledon (a project of ecoCaledon) and the Caledon Library, and will be held at the Bolton Branch. Renowned local writer (and member of the WITWA team) Kathryn MacDuffee is already confirmed as a participant.
If you are a published writer, want-to-be writer, or simply an appreciative reader, please come and join us in this exploration into the source and purpose of creative writing, held in the spirit of participative inquiry. Share your insights. Learn from others. Be open to surprising perspectives generated together.
If you have questions please contact Satya Robinson at satya.evolve@gmail.com or call 416-885-8628.
