Description

Renowned art historian and critic Christopher Allen will examine the influence of French artistic movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries on Australian artists. The lecture will be followed by drinks and an optional visit to the Art Gallery of South Australia's exhibition "Colours of Impressionism: Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay”, with commentary on individual paintings by Christopher Allen and Michelle Hiscock.
