Join the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments and the Kern County Public Health Services Department for a continuing education workshop for nurses on environmental health!

Topics include:

  • Environmental Health Nursing Assessments
  • Environmental health risks in our everyday lives: from personal care products to drinking water quality
  • New State of the Air Report by the American Lung Association and its implications for health
  • Farmworkers' special vulnerabilities to environmental risks
  • Environmental effects on children's neuro and behavioral developments: What the science is telling us.
