This is a small, intimate workshop for a maximum of 5 aspiring photographers. Do you want to stop using the automatic mode on your camera? I will introduce you to basic photography concepts as well as concepts specific to digital photography, and get you well on your way to unleashing your creativity.
You will also get access to my online photography class for free, as well as some goodies I'll be handing out at the workshop!
Once you take the workshop, I'll also be happy to stay in touch and answer some of your future questions about photography.
To participate, you will just need a digital camera with manual settings. Send me an email at email@example.com if you're not sure your camera is appropriate. Pretty much any camera with interchangeable lenses should be fine.
You will also need to be able to walk for a couple hours, as we will be exploring the area around Granville Island to take some photos.
We'll meet at Off the Tracks (and grab some coffee for those who want some) and then head out!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Granville island has parking options. We're starting nice and early in the hopes that we'll have good light to work with. That means that parking might not be too busy, but I can't guarantee anything.
What can I bring into the event?
If you have any photography gear you want help with, feel free to bring it! I can't guarantee I'll know about your particular gear, but I'll certainly try to help!
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You can shoot me an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
What's the refund policy?
I'll offer refunds up to 24 hours before the workshop.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Sure! But let me know in advance who you've given the ticket to.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, that's okay, if you send me a message in advance to let me know.
