Event description

Description

Join West Michigan landscape photographer Walter Elliott on Saturday, March 17, as he outlines his approach to photography. Learn the steps he takes to prepare before he travels, how he evaluates the landscape for better compositions, and the post-production process he uses for editing his work. He will also discuss his thoughts on social media, and the steps he takes to share his work.

Walter Elliott is a landscape photographer from Spring Lake, Michigan. He began working with film in the late 80’s and early 90’s, and then rediscovered his passion for photography in 2014 with the purchase of his first DSLR. Whether it’s lakeshore sunsets, lighthouses, waterfalls, or thunderstorms, he loves to travel throughout Michigan and photograph the beauty of the Great Lakes.
