Event description

Description

Did you know that nutritionists recommend you should only eat until you’re 80% full? What does 80% full even feel like?

Based on the practice of “hara hachi bu”, practiced by Okinawans (one of the oldest, healthiest populations on planet earth!), eating slowly and stopping at 80% full are cornerstones of healthy eating. It’s the first step in cultivating a strong, fit body...and healthy attitude about food.

The modern American diet prioritizes VOLUME instead of nourishment, but this workshop is going to change that. What if you re-learned how to eat so that wherever you go, whatever is on your plate, you naturally ate to support your health goals, instead of consuming until you’re stuffed.

Join us for a guided meal, packed with high-level coaching, realistic tips and adaptable eating practices. Instead of focusing on restriction, we'll retrain our brains to savor our food, have fun, and push away from the table at the right time.

This month we'll meet at Sweetgreen in the Meatpacking District, which offers delicious and healthy choices that meet all dietary restrictions.
