Hands-On & Demonstration, $45
It’s been showing up on more and more restaurant menus around town lately, but lots of adventurous foodies are still nervous about tackling lamb in their own kitchens: How do I cook it properly? Are there different types of lamb? How do I avoid making it taste gamey? Let us answer these questions and more! Get hands-on in this lamb-tastic workshop and learn how to prepare one of the most underappreciated (and crazy-delicious) meats around. See how easy it can be to work with lamb as a home cook while using different cuts in class, and taste how versatile it can be as we incorporate different techniques and flavors from all over the world.
On the Menu: Indian-Style Lamb Chops with Green Apple Raita; Roasted Leg of Lamb with Herbes de Provence, Local Honey, and Stone Fruit Salad; Lamb Burgers with Harissa Sauce and Smashed Chickpea Salad.
Instructor: Min Liao, Culinary Center Director
