What are We Marching For? Climate, Poverty, & Scalable Solutions
Event Information
Description
A Climate Week Event, sponsored by the Bard MBA in Sustainability program.
The 21st Century is being defined by two destabilizing trends: rising global temperatures and increasing inequality and joblessness. As 100,000 people descend on New York City demanding action to change the future, this panel describes the road to a livable future. Green Business Pioneer Hunter Lovins; 350.org Co-Founder Phil Aroneanu, First Nations Social Entrerpreneur Donna Morton, and Jo Confino, editor of The Guardian Sustainable Business will focus on solutions that address the global crises of jobs, poverty, and inequality on a rapidly warming planet, at a scale that science and justice demand.
***Seating is strictly limited to the first 60 guests to arrive. Sign up for a ticket here and arrive early to reserve your seat.***
