Speakers:

Omar Blayton

CFO, SunWealth

Omar Blayton is Chief Financial Officer at Sunwealth. Formerly he served as a Vice President with Reznick Capital Markets Securities, a subsidiary of the Reznick Group. Omar’s background focuses on renewable energy, asset sales along with the raising, structuring, and negotiating of tax equity investments. Omar was an associate in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Leveraged Finance Group, focusing primarily on the industrial, healthcare, and gaming spaces. During his time at BAML, Omar structured and executed high yield, leveraged loan and asset-based loan transactions for leveraged buyouts, strategic acquisitions and corporate refinancing. He participated in 10 lead left transactions, totaling more than $14 billion. Before entering finance, Omar was an attorney with Reed Smith LLP where he focused primarily on investment management advisory to one of the nation’s largest mutual fund companies. Omar received his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School. He received a JD from Columbia Law School and his BA from Cornell University.

Sarah S. Chang

World Wide Director, Sustainability, Johnson & Johnson

Sarah Chang is the World Wide Director of Sustainability for Johnson & Johnson. In this role, she develops and executes external sustainability engagement plans that will help position Johnson & Johnson’s business segments (consumer, medical device and pharmaceutical) as leaders in sustainability to key customers.
Additionally, she provides leading insights and enables strategic sustainability engagements with J&J customers by cultivating external relationships and partnerships with top global customers. Sarah received a dual Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations, as well as a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Ryan M. Connors

Managing Director, Water & Environmental Equities, Boenning & Scattergood, Inc

Ryan Connors rejoined the equity research team at Boenning & Scattergood in January 2015 as Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst covering the water & environment sector. Prior to joining Boenning & Scattergood, Mr. Connors served as Managing Director, Water & Agriculture at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. Ryan's experience also includes buy-side research positions with PNC Advisors, where he covered industrials and basic materials, and ProShare Advisors, where he was responsible for fixed income research. He has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal, Investors Business Daily, and other major financial publications, and has appeared as a live featured guest on CNBC and Bloomberg Television. Mr. Connors holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Saint Joseph's University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University.


Linda Froelich

Global Sustainability Director, FMC Corporation

Linda Froelich has recently been appointed to be the Global Sustainability Director for FMC Corporation. After graduating from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY, Linda immediately started working for FMC in 1977 and has held several positions since that time in research, development and the businesses. Linda’s first position was as a technician screening compounds for fungicidal activity. In the 1980’s, Linda worked in the Biotechnology group isolating natural product herbicides and insecticides from fungi. In the 1990’s, Linda moved from research into development where she was responsible for doing studies to support product registrations around the world. In 2003, Linda moved to FMC’s Philadelphia headquarters offices to manage the North America Registrations and Regulatory group and then took the position as the Product Stewardship Manager for FMC’s Agricultural Solutions business ensuring that FMC’s products are used safely and responsibly around the world. Linda lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, Rick. Linda and Rick enjoy traveling, boating, skiing and cooking and recently became “empty nesters.” Their daughter, Jen, was married three years ago and lives in northern Vermont where she works as carpenter and has also started her own business making furniture and cabinets. Their son, Dan, lives in North Carolina and is currently working and enjoying being independent. Linda and Rick have been married for 36 years and are hoping to go on a safari in Kenya someday soon!


Karissa Kruse

President, Sonoma County Winegrowers

Karissa Kruse is President of the Sonoma County Winegrowers, a marketing and educational organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Sonoma County as one of the world’s premier grape growing regions. Karissa joined Sonoma County Winegrowers as Director of Marketing in September 2012 and was named President for the organization on May 1, 2013. Karissa earned a BS in Economics and an MBA in Marketing from Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania. She has over 17 years of experience in various aspects of marketing, brand management, strategic planning and business development. Karissa has worked for companies such as General Mills, Universal Studios, Mattel and Dairy Management, where Karissa worked for seven years on behalf of dairy farmers nationally. She is a partner in a small winery, Argot Wines, and the owner of a 25 acre parcel in Bennett Valley, with five acres planted to grapes. Karissa is on the boards of the Sonoma County Tourism, Sonoma County Harvest Fair, Sonoma County Grape Growers Foundation, Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce, Santa Rosa Junior College Shone Farm Foundation, Ag Trust Committee and Viticulture Advisory Committee and a member of Leadership Santa Rosa Class 29. Kruse was selected as a North Bay Business Journal ‘Women in Business 2014 Honoree’ and ‘Forty under 40’ Award recipient in 2012.

Francesca Olivier

Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, Medline Industries

Francesca Olivier is the Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Medline Industries. With 10+ years of experience developing social and environmental programs, spanning the non-profit, corporate and public sectors, she believes in taking a results-based approach and using the power of storytelling to drive buy-in of a shared vision at all levels, from the warehouse to the C-suite. Francesca currently leads the CSR strategy, from vision development to execution and reporting. This includes community impact across our 45+ distribution centers and manufacturing facilities, sustainability of our products and supply chain and employee engagement and volunteerism. She shapes the story of Medline’s CSR program to resonate with current employees, potential hires and customers. This role requires balancing the different, and sometimes conflicting, visions of various stakeholders, and developing a program that meets the expectations of all of them. Francesca holds a BA in Sociology from Loyola University and an MS in Environmental Management and Sustainability from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Dave Stangis

Chief Sustainability Officer, The Campbell Soup Company

Dave is a versatile senior executive leader with diverse background in multiple sectors, with more than 25 years of varied experience leveraging strategic public affairs, corporate responsibility, sustainability and communication principles to generate business and brand value. Prior to joining Campbell, Dave spent 12 years at Intel where he had the privilege to envision, construct and lead the Corporate Responsibility function. Dave has been named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics by Ethisphere Magazine (2008 & 2013 and was recognized as one of the Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior by Trust Across America for 4 yrs in a row 2011-2014. Dave has led two global Fortune 500 organizations in different sectors into the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations, and to the top of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens List.
