Take an unforgettable 3 - 5 hour journey through the San Juan and Gulf Islands, experience breathtaking scenery and marine wildlife. This enchanting journey features secluded bays, secret coves, and spectacular world class scenery. We seek out the Southern Resident and Transient Killer Whales, Humpback Whales, porpoise, sea lions, seals, and others. You will stop for lunch and breaks on the islands throughout the trip. These are the answers to our most frequently asked questions about our Whale Watching Adventures..
Q1: Will we see whales?
Yes, we guarantee it. We are members of the Pacific Whale Watch Association (PWWA). The boats are outfitted with UHF radios and we work together. We have an 90% success rate so the likelyhood of seeing whales is extremely high, however if you do not see a whale as some days they are elusive, you may come on another adventure until you do see them.
Q2: Where do we go?
Across the Straight of Georgia to the breathtaking Gulf and San Juan Islands where you will watch whales and other wildlife in their natural habitat. It is an unforgettable, trip of a lifetime!
Q3: How long is the trip?
Every trip is different as we explore the Canadian Gulf Islands, the US San Juan Islands and beyond, in search of whales and other wildlife. Our trips are typically 3-5 hours.
Q4: What does it cost?
The rate for this unforgettable 3 - 5 hour adventure tour is $175/ person. Availability is limited. All rates in Canadian currency and subject to the 5% Goods and Services Tax.
Q5: When do we leave?
We depart at the end of the White Rock Pier. Please arrive 10 minutes before departure.
Q6: How do I book my adventure?
We make it easy. You fcan book online (recommended) and at our presentation tent on the pier. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call us at (604) 868-1755.
Q7: What should I bring?
It it going to be a great day. You are encouraged to bring sunscreen, bottle of water, snack, money for the break, camera, and a big sense of adventure. Space is limited so pack light. Do not bring alcohol or drugs. We sometimes are visited by police on the water so bring ID.
Q8: What should I wear?
Sunglasses, waterproof boots, a hat suitable for fast open boats (toque/beannie/ball cap), fleece jacket, long pants.

Q10: Where do I park?
White Rock charges ($3/hour) parking fees. Parking along Marine Drive is limited to 4 hours and our whale watching adventure is 3 - 5 hours. One solution is to park behind the Washington Avenue Grill where it is $6/all day(see map). This will give you a nice 15-20 minute walk along the White Rock Promenade to the Pier. Parking is free uptown at the top of the hill. Consider getting a ride or take bus/taxi part way.
Q11: What is your cancellation policy?
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. Please note, our trips are weather dependent and we reserve the right to postpone trips due to weather or mechanical problems. If your trip is postponed, we will assist you in reserving a future date. Trips are not recommended for those with health concerns.
