Whale Watching Adventure
Take an unforgettable 5-hour journey through the San Juan and Gulf Islands, experience breathtaking scenery and marine wildlife. This enchanting journey features secluded bays, secret coves, and spectacular world-class scenery. We seek out killer whales, humpback whales, porpoise, sea lions, seals, and others. The boat takes lunch and breaks on the islands throughout the trip. Favourites include Port Browning, Poet's Cove and Port Sidney. This is an unforgettable trip of a lifetime you will not forget.

These are the answers to our most frequently asked questions about our Whale Watching Adventures..
Q #1: Will We See Whales?
A. Yes, because we guarantee it. We are a member of the Pacific Whale Watching Association (PWWA). The entire fleet it outfitted with special whale radios and we alerted to where the whales are located. We have an 80% success rate so the likelyhood of seeing whales is extremely high, however if you do not see a whale (orca, minke, gray, or humpback) with us you can come again for FREE, for two years, until you do.
Q #2: Where Do We Go?
White Rock Sea Tours will in 30 minutes whisk you across the Straight of Georgia to the breathtaking Gulf and San Juan Islands where you will watch whales and other wildlife in their natural habitat. It is an unforgettable, trip of a lifetime!
Q #3: How Long Is the Trip?
Every trip is different as we explore the Canadian Gulf Islands, the US San Juan Islands and beyond, in search of whales and other wildlife. Our trips are typically 5 hours.
Q #4: What Does it Cost?
The rate for this unforgettable 5-hour adventure tour is $175/ person. Availability is limited to 11 seats per day. All Rates in Canadian Dollars.
Q #5: When Do We Leave?
We depart at the end of the White Rock Pier. Please arrive 30-minutes before departure.
Q #6: How Do I Book My Adventure?
We make it easy. You can book online (recommended) and at our presentation tent on the pier. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call us at (604) 868-1755.
Q #7: What Should I Bring?
It it going to be a great day. You are encouraged to bring sunscreen, bottle of water, snack, camera, and a BIG sense of adventure.
Q #8: What Should I Wear?
You are encouraged to wear a jacket, pants, hat, sunglasses, close toe footwear and of course a big smile. :)

Q #10: Where Do I Park?
White Rock is infamous for expensive ($3/hour) parking fees. They are also quick to issue tickets. The other challenge is parking along Marine Drive is limited to 4 hours and our whale watching tour is between 4 and 5 hours. The solution is to park behind the Washington Avenue Grill for $6 for 8 hours (see map). This will give you a nice 15-20 minute walk along the White Rock Promenade to the Pier, plus will save you $10-$12 on parking fees.
Q #10: What is Your Cancellation Policy?
Once you have booked a trip, there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. For groups of five or more there is a 48 hour cancellation policy. Please note, our trips are weather dependent and we reserve the right to postpone trips due to weather or mechanical problems. If your trip is postponed, we will assist you in reserving a future date. Trips are not recommended for those with health concerns.
