This new series debuts on Friday September 29, 2017 with a screening of the documentary “Summer 67” at the William V. Banks Broadcast Museum. An exclusive behind the scenes talk about what it takes to produce a documentary follows the screening.

Join Bruce Harper, the Director of “Summer 67” and Sarah Hulett, the narrator and researcher for an insider’s discussion on the art and challenges of filmmaking!

The Behind the Lens debut falls on the anniversary date of when WGPR-TV62 went on the air in 1975. Proceeds from the event go to support the William V. Banks Broadcast Museum which tells the history of WGPR, the first black owned and operated television in the United States.
