The Writers Guild Foundation, in partnership with the Academy Education and Nicholl Fellowship Programs, presents the writing conference you won't want to miss!

WGFestival 2019 is a weekend of keynote panels, interactive breakout sessions, and special events focused uniquely on the craft and business of writing for film and TV. Featuring the industry's best and brightest writers, producers, and executives, our goal is to provide an educational, insightful, and inspiring experience for writers at all levels.

The Marquee Pass grants immediate access to our online Breakout Session registration, access to all screenings and events in the Pickford Center, access to the VIP pre-reception and admission into our Friday night kick-off event "Inside the Writers Room with Jane the Virgin. Marquee Pass holders will also receive an exclusive gift bag filled with sweet merch.

The Classic Pass grants access to all screenings and events in the Pickford Center access to our online Breakout Session registration on Friday, February 15 at Noon PST, and admission to our Friday night kick-off event "Inside the Writers Room with Jane the Virgin."  

The Linwood Dunn Day Passes grant access to panels taking place in the Linwood Dunn Theater. The Saturday Pass grants access to "Behind the Scenes with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and "Writing for Change: Addressing Social and Political Issues on TV," along with access to our Networking Mixer. The Sunday Pass grants access to the morning seminar "Emotional Storytelling: Creating Complex Characters You Care About" with Meg LeFauve and the WGFestival Pitch Competition.

This year we're happy to use Sched to process breakout session sign-ups ahead of the event. Upon purchasing a WGFestival pass, passholders will be prompted to create a Sched account that can be used to manage your itinerary for the weekend.

Marquee Pass holders can register for all Breakout Sessions immediately after purchasing the Marquee Pass, alongside all Special Events and the Networking Mixer. Classic Pass holders will be able to register for breakout sessions on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Noon PST. Classic Pass holders are able to immediately register for all Special Events and Linwood Dunn Panels, along with the Networking Reception.
