Fall Focus: Crucial Conversations - Keeping Women and Girls in WNC Safe

Bring a friend and join us for our annual Fall meeting! 

Learn how the NC Department of Justice guards against domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse in our region.

 


4:30 – 5:00       Reception 
Enjoy light appetizers while you mingle with other members and guests.

5:00 – 6:15       Program 
In her current role as Western North Carolina Community Partnership & Outreach Coordinator at North Carolina Department of Justice, Holly Jones will provide us with an update on the DOJ's efforts to keep women and children safe in North Carolina. We'll hear her perspective on work done to date, progress made towards current goals, and planned initiatives on the horizon.

6:30                  Dinner for Six (optional)
Join WFW members and guests for dinner at downtown restaurants:
Isa's Bistro
Laughing Seed
Red Ginger
Strada
When you register, please choose two restaurants where you'd like to dine. We'll assign you to one of your choices based on available seating. The registration fee is for the Fall Focus event only. Dinner for Six guests will pay for their individual meals at the restaurant.

 

Our reception, program, and dinner for six provide an opportunity to meet like-minded women committed to supporting local programs for women and girls.

 

Please register by Thursday, September 13th.

 

Women for Women was formed in 2005 to improve the lives of women and girls through effective charitable giving. An initiative of The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, Women for Women has distributed more than $3.4 million in grants.
