#WEWANTWORF Campaign Origins:
The #WEWANTWORF Campaign began with one very simple goal; Convince CBS to green light the new series, STAR TREK TNG: THE WORF CHRONICLES starring the man who originated the character almost 30 years ago, MICHAEL DORN.
A great many things have changed in the landscape of the STAR TREK UNIVERSE since we first launched this campaign back in April of 2015 and so too have our goals.
#WEWANTWORF has become a symbol of a return to traditional RODDENBERRY style STAR TREK complete with intelligent exploration of socially relevant topics and hot button, even perhaps 'taboo,' issues.
And so the campaign continues to remind the world (and CBS) that THIS is the direction that the STAR TREK Franchise should be moving toward by keeping WORF in the conversation online and via social media as well as by hosting incredible events like this one!
