Learn fundamental principles related to wetland ecology in the context of wetland management in the Intermountain West

About this Event

This short course explores the physical, chemical, and biological structure of wetlands. Focuses on the major types of wetlands found in North America, as well as their ecology and management; U.S. wetland policy and mitigation; and regional, national, and global impacts on restoration of wetlands.

The course begins with an online component that lasts from February 18- April 19, followed by a five-day intensive field course, including a 2-day practicum in wetland delineation.
