Event description

Description

When a robot malfunction creates havoc and terror for unsuspecting visitors at a futuristic, adult-themed amusement park, the park owners must reckon with the technology they’ve unleashed. Don't miss seeing the inspiration for the hit HBO show!

PG (Adult Themes)

"The first use of computer digitized images as part of a feature film (not merely monitor graphics) was the Gunslinger's point of view in Westworld. After the process was finally developed enough to produce satisfactory results, it took a mere eight hours to produce each ten seconds of footage for the Gunslinger's pixelated POV." - IMDB

A.I. Film Series

For decades, humans have been obsessed with creating life-like machines that look and act like real people. As technology continues to advance, artificial intelligence explored in classic films moves further away from science fiction and draws ever closer to becoming part of the real world. Join us as we present three nights of classic films that examine self-aware A.I. and the impact that technology has on its creators. We’ll also look at the current state of artificial intelligence in tech and how this industry has evolved.

Each screening will include a brief introduction along with electrolyte water and power bars.
