Description

A cooperative effort of the Kentucky Forage and Grassland Council, Kentucky Cooperative Extension, Kentucky Natural Resource Conservation Service, and the Ballard County Conservation District

Toby and Debby Dulworth have farmed in Ballard County since 1977. Toby had been building his herd of forage-oriented seedstock Hereford cattle since 1964. The Dulworths’s have practiced managed grazing since1989 when Toby resumed his teaching career at Heath High School. In 2003, Debby began direct-marketing the farm’s award-winning 100% grass-finished Dogwood Farm Hereford Beef. For more than 40 years, Debby has contributed articles and photographs to various publications such as Progressive Farmer, The Stockman Grass Farmer, and Kentucky’s Cow Country News.
