How to find us:
I do not know what shelter we will have so PLEASE LOOK FOR THE WELCOME BANNER! (See event Logo)
addition to the WELCOME BANNER, you will see a large (15 passenger) red
and gray/silver van. (It has lettering on the side that has been
removed, don't be confused you aren't there for a retirement meeting
As with most gatherings there will be some food involved.
In potluck style, we would like you to bring something healthy to share
and some way to serve a proper serving size so that people can see what a
serving size is for your particular recipe. I also ask that you bring
copies of the recipe WITH the nutrition information so that others may
see it (in the past many people have asked for other members recipes).
You can do this rather easily on SparkRecipes.com if you don't already
have it. All you have to do is fill in the ingredients and instructions
and how many servings - it does the nutritional calculations for you. If
you are bringing an item you purchased rather than made, please bring
the packaging so the nutritional information is available...
There are NO electrical outlets available, however, we will have 3 warming trays available for people needing to keep warmed food warm. Iced Water, Instant Iced Tea Mix, and a Sugar-Free Fruit Drink will be provided.
To get into the Park you will need to have/purchase a state park entry permit. You can often do this at the park entrance (there may be a little booth there), or at most local grocers' customer service counters, or online at ngpc-permits.ne.gov/NGPC-PS/faces/public/welcome
Daily permits are $4 for a day or annual permits are $21 for the entire calendar year, and the park permit will get you into ANY Nebraska State Park.
There is no cost to attend the Rally, aside from the permit, I host the Rallies free of charge. However, in the past we have had members who wished to donate to help offset costs - to this end there will be a quart jar available at the rally if you wish to make a donation. PLEASE, do NOT feel obligated, I only mention this because of previous inquiries.
