At a time when so many of us want to return more resonance and community to our lives, singing has a unique power to connect us to each other. Plus, it’s just plain fun!

We recently completed our 11-week summer season -- come join us for the fall season! Every Tuesday evening starting October 11 -- come to one circle, some of them, or all! No singing experience needed, no auditions, non-performative, all voices welcome.

I teach all the easy-to-learn non-religious community-singing songs line-by-line (sometimes called “call-and-echo”) -- that means you never need to have attended any of the previous circles, and there's no music to read. Songs are selected for their ability to rejuvenate, soothe, and inspire!

Recognizing that we are all connected, and that our actions affect each other, the following is the Covid policy for our in-person song circles. In buying a ticket, you agree to abide by this policy.

• Note that when you join us at a song circle, you are proceeding at your own risk. We recommend that you keep up-to-date about Covid and your choices for protective measures through such sources as the CDC website, Marin County's website, and medical professionals.
• While Covid vaccines are not required, you are encouraged to follow the CDC’s recommendation and stay up-to-date with vaccination as that reduces the risk of severe disease, infection, and the risk of transmission if you are infectious.
• We sing indoors in distanced concentric circles; enhanced ventilation with doors, including the space's French doors, open, and floor fans operating; with a limit on capacity (ie. the number of singers) to promote social distancing; masks are optional while we’re singing. Note that at the Dance Palace (DP), masks are required in all common areas, including the lobby, hallways, bathrooms, and while passing through those common spaces, and that the DP requires sign-in on their contact sheet at our table.
• Please do not join us if: (a) You have any Covid symptoms, including gastrointestinal symptoms, even if you think it is because of allergies or some other cause; (b) You’ve had Covid symptoms recently, and you haven’t had two consecutive negative antigen tests 48 hours apart; (c) Within the last 10 days you've had direct contact with an individual diagnosed with, or suspected to have, Covid, or who is displaying symptoms commonly associated with Covid, and you have not had two consecutive negative antigen tests 48 hours apart starting on day 5 or later.
• Also, please do not join us if you've recently been diagnosed with Covid until (a) you are symptom-free, AND (b) it has either been 10 days since your symptoms began or since the date of your positive test if you never had symptoms OR you have had two consecutive negative antigen tests 48 hours apart starting on Day 6 or later. (Day 1 is the first date of symptoms, or, if you were symptom-free, the date your positive test was collected.)
• Note: You will receive a full refund, even if you cancel day-of, if you include your Covid-related reason in your cancellation email or call.
• This policy may change at any time due to such factors as Marin's CDC Community Level.

Ticket sales end at 5:30pm Tuesdays; tickets are available onsite (cash, Venmo, PayPal) **until we reach capacity**. If the date you want is sold out, getting on the waitlist is free of charge. If you buy a ticket and decide day-of that you can't make it, please email me so if there's a waitlist I know I can let someone in -- if someone takes your seat I will refund your ticket.
