WEST CHESTER FILM FESTIVAL

Join us for the FIFTEENTH Annual International Short Film Festival in the heart of one of the BEST SMALL TOWNS in America! See the best short film from around the globe, meet the filmmakers, learn about filmmaking at our workshops or just enjoy the time between film blocks dining or imbibing at one of the dozens of fine eating and drinking establishments all just a stone's throw away! STAY FOR THE WEEKEND and experience all that the Festival and West Chester have to offer!

West Chester Film Festival Screenings, April 26-28

Film Blocks will be screened from Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28 at the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center. All film blocks are approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes long and screen between 7 and 9 different short films of all genres. (Adult: $10, Student/Senior w/ ID: $7)

OPEN to the PUBLIC Please join us for THE best deal in Chester County! A fun wrap-up to the Film Festival weekend. “The Chester,” the West Chester Film Festival beloved Award, is a one of a kind blown glass sculpture designed by Brett Walker and hand-crafted by artisans at the Reading Goggleworks glass-blowing studio. The Chester will be awarded to the Best Animation, Art/Experimental, Drama, Documentary, Comedy, Student, PA Filmmaker and to the H. Paul Fitzpatrick’s People’s Choice film. The Best Woman Filmmaker receives a $500 award presented by the Regional Center for Women in the Arts. Beverages and light nosh will be provided. Following the Awards Presentation, you’ll get to see some of the award-winning films one last time! Tickest may be purchased online or throughout the Festival weekend at Uptown!, or at the door on Sunday night.
