It's our Annual Fall Retreat! Join us for a weekend of fun, rest, and bonding. Get away from the craziness of Seattle and school and head to the hot destination spot of Gig Harbor. We will stay at Harbor Creek Lodge-- a 14,000 square foot property with a pond (and ducks), gym, disco ball, hot tub and more. We'll have time to hang out, sleep in, and eat delicious food. We'll romp through a corn maze and drink hot beverages. Bring your friends and meet new people. It's the perfect way to meet new friends and connect with old ones.
Our Speaker for the Weekend is Dr. Vanya Stier-Van Essen. She teaches Depth Psychology at Bellvue Community College and also is also the owner of The Imago Center for Soulful Living. Vanya is committed to helping individuals:
Cultivate soulful engagement with our lives and with the world
Slow down and carving out spaces for reflection, creativity, and expression
Engage with myths, dreams, and imagination to explore what lies beneath the surface of things
Deepen into their experiences and understanding our stories in new ways
She believes that as we do this, we encounter the possibility of falling into the rhythms of soul and imagination. Events become experiences as we deepen into them and tap in to the currents running beneath and through our everyday lives.
We will meet at Wesley Club (1414 NE. 42nd St. Suite 202) at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 23. Transporation will be provided. Cost for accommodations, food, transportation and corn maze entry are included in the cost of the ticket.
Things not included: any extra snacks or special beverages you want to bring or purchase at the Corn Maze.
