We have a few more trees to plant and we need your help!
On Saturday, December 3rd, the Living Arroyos Program will continue planting native trees at Stanley Reach. Our goal is to install 200 trees this fall and we have about 40 more plants to go. We're almost there, but we need your help. We encourage you to invite family and friends to this volunteer event.
We'll work from 9 AM to noon, and will supply equipment, snacks and water for volunteers. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We work rain or shine, so come prepared! A hat, water bottle, and sunblock will help.
**WE WILL MEET AT THE EAST END OF THE SITE (Opposite of where we typically meet).**
Park: Corner of Summertree drive and Cottonwood Court, Livermore 94551. Follow the signs along the bike path heading east (5 min walk) to get to our site by the creek! Allow a few extra minutes for parking and finding us; we'd like to start right at 9 am.
Every volunteer must have a signed waiver on file:
- If you're under 18: please bring a release form filled out by a parent/guardian.
- If you are over 18: you will fill one out for yourself.
- Waivers and release forms are available HERE
- NOTE: You only need to fill out a release form ONCE and you're good for the year (Oct-Apr)!
We look forward to sharing this day with you!
