Description

Join Nurse Coach, Kym Dunton, RN, CHC from Baptist Health to discuss "What About Me?" Caring for the Caregiver!

If you are caring for elderly parents or loved ones, you are not alone. More than 43 million people in the U.S. care for someone 50 or older, and nearly 15 million care for someone who has Alzheimer’s or dementia. Caring for an aging parent or spouse can be a richly rewarding yet stressful, emotional experience. The key to minimizing the stress and anxiety (for yourself, your parents and your siblings) is open, respectful communication — early and often, and not trying to do this alone.

Women have a tendency to focus on everyone but themselves - the sandwich generation! In this session, we are spending time focusing on you- the caregiver! This is a time for sharing, listening and caring, as we look at some simple strategies and resouces to help you care for the "gems" in your life!

No cost to attend, and YMCA membership is not required, so invite a friend!

Seating is limited, so reserve your space today!

Please Note: The health coaches do not have access to your medical history and can only speak in general terms. You should always check with your personal doctor for specific health questions. If you do not have a personal physician and would like one, visit baptistprimarycare.net
